Quantic® Electronics, today announced that Mohsen Zolghadri has been appointed Chief Engineer. Mohsen brings with him more than thirty years of experience in RF design and development.
Prior to joining Quantic, Mohsen held the position of Senior RF Design Engineer at SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies), where he led the design, manufacturing and test of Ku and Ka band RF transceivers for satellite applications, designed the first WiFi router for Starlink, and designed Ka receivers for ground applications. He has also held senior RF design engineer positions at Starix Technology, TiaLinx Inc., Broadcom, Wionics Research, and Spotwave Wireless Inc., where he has led RF hardware design, development and test for digital communication, RF systems analysis and block specifications, RF PCB design, electromagnetic analysis and design, and mixed signal hardware design. Many of his past projects have included designs focused on environmental considerations, including shock, vibration, thermal and EMI factors.
Early in his career, Mohsen worked with various companies as an engineer specializing in RF, MMIC, and Electronic Design in Iran and Canada. He holds a Master of Science in Microwave Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, University of Montreal.
